Francis, called Blondie by everyone, was the son of George LaValley and Mary Fisher. He was the first husband of Arline Marjorie Louise Vaugh and they were the parents of Karen Lorraine, Kenneth Francis, and Kurtis William LaValley. He remarried but did not have anymore children. Blondie died in the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington, Connecticut.
