Mrs. Melton, a long time Denton Realtor was a member of the Gateway United Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Louis Groening and Thomas 'Buck' Melton. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Groening and daughters Jennie Brown and Mary Lynn Stanaland.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 13, 2013 with a service in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F Cemetery.
