Mrs. Grim died along with her grandson, Carl Douglas Cunningham. Jr., age 1 1/2 years old, in a tornado that struck in Woodward on Wednesday evening, April 9, 1947.
Carl Douglas Cunningham, Jr. was also buried in the Bethany Cemetery.
Joint services were held on Sunday, April 13, 1947, at 2 p.m. in the First Nazarene Church in Bethany for Mrs. Beryl Grim and her grandson, Carl Douglas Cunningham, Jr.,
age 1 1/2 years old. Both were victims of the Woodward tornado. Burial will be at the Bethany Cemetery. The child is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Carl Douglas Cunningham, Sr. from Woodward. Other survivors are Mrs. Grim's husband, Clyde, two sons and two brothers and one sister.
