Clem Miller, accompanied by his aunt, Mrs. May Crider of Buck Creek, attended the funeral of his uncle, Dr. G. G. Eckhart, in Marion, Wednesday. Dr. Eckhart, who died Monday was a brother of Mrs. Charles E. Miller and Mrs. Henry Cook, both deceased. Mrs. J. R. Stair, a niece; Mr. Stair, and Miss Blache Stair of Knightstown were in Marion Tuesday to pay their respects at the Eckhart home. Miss Stair, a registered nurse, formerly was superintendent of the Grant County hospital, where Dr. Eckhart was chief surgeon.
