GARLAND - Funeral service for Edward T. Lamm, 83, of Garland will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at the Miller Road Baptist Church here with the Rev. Little and Wright presiding. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Cemetery.
He died Monday in the Garland Senior Citizens Home following a long illness.
He was born in Greenville on July 2, 1896, and was preceded in death by his wife, Omega Umbarger Lamm.
He is survived by his stepmother, Memory Lamm; sons, Eddie Lamm and Bob Lamm of Garland; daughters, Nancy Wilson of Houston, Johnnie Pike of Dallas and Jettie Shields of Greenville; three brothers; three sisters; and 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
His grandsons will be pallbearers.
