GREENWOOD- April 6, 1942- Frank Cole died unexpected at his home here Saturday at 5 pm following a heart attack suffered while working around his farm a short time before. He was 81 years of age and a lifelong resident here.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Frances McCormick Cole; eight sons Jay Cole of Cory, PA, Franklin Cole of Mercer, PA
Lee Cole of Almond, Earnest Cole of Camp Croft SC, David, Clifford, Cornelius and Paul Cole at home; Seven daughters, Mrs. D. Clark of Greenwood, Mrs. Hattie Hyland and Mrs. Kittie Roberts of Sonyea, Mrs. Francis Buxton of Clymer NY, Mrs. George Wagoner of Rochester, Mrs. Harold Westbrook of Nunda and miss Genevieve Cole at home; three stepchildren, Stanley McCormick of Hornell, Mrs. George Burdick of Greenwood, and Mrs. James Martin of Sylvan Springs NY
The body is at the family home where prayer service will be held Wednesday at 2 pm followed by services in Greenwood Methodist Church at 2;30 pm. Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery
