Adelle A. Cornett, 88, of Sykesville, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at Northwest Hospital Center, Randallstown.
Born Nov. 28, 1911, in Grayson County, Va., dau. of Ellis Leander Anderson and Gincy A Tucker Anderson; she was the wife of the late Patrick Ray Cornett.
She had been a nursing assistant at Springfield Hospital Center in Sykesville.
Surviving are sons Charles W. Cornett Sr. of Sykesville and Wiley Ralph Cornett; brother John Anderson of Abingdon; sisters Grace Duncan of Darlington and Gladys Crouse of Delta, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by daughter Erma Ruth Spence and son Ray Cornett.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, with the Rev. James Rousey officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
