Herald Coaster, April 15, 1975:

Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Chupik, 77, of Rosenberg, will be held at the Rosenberg Brethren Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Reverend Milton Maly and the Rev. Henry Beseda officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs Chupik died Monday morning at her residence of a gunshot wound. She was a native of Kansas and had been a resident of this area since 1917.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Chupik of Rosenberg; three sons, Albert Chupik, Daniel Chupik, and Ben Chupik, all of Rosenberg; two daughters, Mrs. Vlasta Talasek of Rosenberg and Mrs. Eleanora Squires of Houston; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Triska Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Rosenberg Brethren Church Fund.
