Name: Conn, William A---Age: 27

Sergeant Conn was the only airman who lost his life in the forced landing crash of 15 RAF Squadron's Short Stirling I (#N6043) aircraft. N6043, with an aircrew of seven, took off at night from RAF Alconbury; a technical failure caused the forced landing.
