BOBACK , John On Friday, February 4, 2011, JOHN BOBACK, age 91, of Timonium, passed away at the Gilchrist Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. John served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II. He retired from Bendix Corporation in 1982. He was the beloved husband of Catherine G. (nee Brunstetter) Boback of 63 years; devoted father of Brenda B. Tenberg and her husband Brian, the late John "Jack" Boback and the late Carolyn Boback; brother of Michael Boback and Vera Boback Yupco; grandfather of Amelia and Susan Tenberg.
Friends may call at the family owned Peaceful Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093, on Tuesday, February 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, at the Timonium United Methodist Church, 2300 Pot Spring Rd., beginning at 10 AM. Interment in the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's name may be made to The Salvation Army.
