Lester D. Adams, age 67, died March 3 very suddenly at his home in Wirt where he had moved three days before. He came here from Trimble County, Ky., about 25 years ago. He leaves his wife, Cora; two daughters, six sons, 36 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Newton Adams, son-in-law, of Art Nighbert, is his son. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church of this township. Funeral services were conducted from Taff's Funeral Home, Hanover, with burial Sunday, March 5, at Springdale Cemetery, Madison. At the time of his burial Sunday afternoon, three other burials were being conducted at Springdale, all being men.
