Ada S. Brown LANCASTER -
Ada Scott Brown, 90, of Lancaster Route 4, died at 3:40 p.m. Thursday at Garrard County Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 18, 1892, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Elisha and Alice Estes Scott. She was a member of the Beuna Vista Baptist Church and widow of William H. Brown.
Survivors include a son, Clifford Brown of Garrard County; four daughters, Ola Mae Duggins, Geneva Lane, Sadie Morford and Jewell Wilson, all of Garrard County; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home with burial in the Lancaster Cemetery. : Visitation is after 4 p.m. today. Pallbearers for the service will be Ralph Murphy, Jennings IJrotherton, Kenneth Teater, Fred VanArsdall, Gary Risk, Guy Puffer and Howard Smith.
