In the next household was William Van Court (age 20-60) and Arena (20-60). [1895 State Census]


In Jun 1910, Charles H. Van Court was married his second wife, Margaret T. Brennan Roninger, and living with her four children at 40 Columbia Street in West Orange, New Jersey. He was born in New Jersey, was 53 years old, and he was a butcher for a meat company. [1910 Federal Census]


He and Margaret were married in 1908. [New Jersey Marriage Record] They had no children together.


In a 28 Feb 1910 article in the Newark Evening Star, Mary Van Court claimed she and Charles were married in Bloomfield on 24 Feb 1875, and they lived together in Bloomfield and Glen Ridge until June 1899, when she left her husband and since resided in Montclair. She claimed that they never divorced, but Charles married Margaret Roninger, a widow on 22 Jul 1908 at St. John's rectory in Orange.
