Mr. Kenneth R. "Buddy" Kiser, age 62, of Deputy, Indiana entered this life on November 12, 1950 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He was the loving son of the late, Hobert "Coal Miner" and Susan Juanita Lucas Kiser. He resided his early life in Kentucky moving to Jefferson County at the age of ten. He had been employed for several years with Sandstone Industries in Madison and enjoyed the people he worked with. He was an avid UK Basketball fan, loved semi-tractor trailers, fishing, drawing and camping. Buddy was a member of the Solid Rock Community Church near Scottsburg, Indiana. Buddy was devoted to his family and enjoyed being with them. Buddy died Monday, April 8, 2013 at 9:14 p.m. at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Buddy will be missed by his loving sisters: Brenda Wolf of Madison, Indiana, Debbie Higgins and her husband, Joey of Canaan, Indiana, Shannon Hamilton and her husband, Kevin of Deputy, Indiana; his loving brothers: Keith Kiser and his wife, Rebecca of Madison, Indiana, Jimmy Hall and his wife, Annetta of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Levi, Zachary and Joshua Kiser all of Indianapolis, Indiana; his step brother: Ricky McIntosh of Indianapolis, Indiana; his nieces and nephews: Jerry, Joe, Susan, Chris, Heather, Jacqui, Cody, Ethan, Daniel, Dorothy and Glenda; his great nieces and great nephews: Casey, Alyssa, Randy, Cassidy, Sunshine, Camdon, Madelyn & Coleman; his aunt: Thursa Baker of Whitesburg, Kentucky; his uncles: Joe Kiser and Millard Lucas of Whitesburg, Kentucky; several great great nieces, great great nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Hobert "Coal Miner" Kiser died, July 15, 2010; his mother, Susan Juanita Lucas Kiser died, July 3, 2011; his sister, Patricia Vann Kiser died in 1954; his nephew, William Hall; his great niece, Ashton Leigh Lawson died, June 5, 2003.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., by the Rev. Mike Shuler and the Rev. Adam Faulkner at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens near Madison, Indiana. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
