He was born on February 27, 1921 in Tipton Ford, Missouri, to John and Laura Newdiger. You are loved, daddy, by all your family and true friends. You made a lsting impression in this world. People wondered how you became such a success in the business world, hitchhiking from Missouri at age 13 to becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Price married Phyllis Vera Jones on Sept. 6, 1942 in Weiser, ID. He accepted Christ after spending four years in the Navy on a ship during WWII. One key to his success was that he attended church faithfully and paid his tithes. He was a lifelong member of the Assembly of God Church.

He was an unbelievable salesman, worked hard, had a dream, owned several restaurants (including the Charolais for 37 years) and was not afraid to take chances. Price was a successful man in the eyes of his true friends, wife, two daughters and many family members.

His beloved and cherished wife, Phyllis Jones Newdiger, six sisters, two brothers and a grandson, Ricky Lee Phillips preceded him in death.

Price is survived by his two daughters, Linda Joy Newdiger and Polly Alexander Newdiger; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
