Nancy Kuncher Obituary
Nancy J. Kuncher, 83, of Latrobe, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at her residence. She was born Dec. 23, 1929, in Mansfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harry and Doris (Helman) Irwin. Nancy was a member of Holy Family Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melanie Ann Kuncher; a brother, Bud Irwin; and two sisters, Eileen Joe and Joyce Kuhns. Nancy is survived by her husband, John M. Kuncher Sr., of Latrobe; three sons, John M. Kuncher Jr. and his wife, Dee, of Sunrise, Fla., Kelly P. Kuncher and his wife, Tamara, of Latrobe, and Kevin S. Kuncher and his wife, Lisa, of Greensburg; two daughters, Nancy Jean Alesi, of Greensburg, and Barbara Lee Dalesandro, of McDonald; a brother, Jack Irwin, of Portage; two sisters, Lee McGuire and her husband, Robert, of Ohio, and Barbara Stromock, of Derry; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Family Church with the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney, VF, as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Action for Animals, P.O. Box 814, Latrobe, PA 15650.
