She was married to James Wayne Sloan on July 4, 1904. To this union two children were born, a son who died in infancy and a daughter, Fern, who was at the time of her mother's death 13 years old. Her first husband died October 12, 1917. She married J. F. Horn on February 22, 1921.
She was a member of the Christian Church and lived in that faith until death. She always enjoyed attending Sunday school and church.
She was survived by her husband and daughter, three sisters, Sally Smith, of Charleston, West Va., Lizzie Lambdin and Mrs. Anna Jones, of English, and one brother, Charles Landis, of New Albany.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Russell Jones at English. Conducted by Elder Leonard Cummins.
Interment was in the Temple Cemetery.
