Son of Wilhelmus Hoogteeling (1699-?) and Marytje Tappen (1699-?).

He mamrried Elizabeth Beekman on 11 Nov 1747 in Kingston, NY. Their children include Thomas, Johannes, Mollie, Jeremiah, Cornelius, and Elizabeth.

Per FRRoss: Reserch shows they were buried at their family ground in Kingston--This would be the defunct Pine St Cemetery aka the Hoghteling Cemetery.

Cemetery notes and/or description:
This cemetery no longer exists. A medical center was built upon the cemetery about 1965. Allegedly the graves were moved to the Old Dutch Churchyard. It is unlikely that this occurred as the Old Dutch Churchyard was already full and Houghtaling contained several hundred graves. Some stones, the few that were extant at that time, were moved to the Old Dutch Churchyard. The memorials for the people whose gravestones were moved to the ODC are listed with the ODC burials.
