Delora is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Robert, children, Nadine Baca and her husband, Francisco and Manuel Ayala and his wife, Jessica, her mother, Seferina Chávez, sister, Paulie Sosebee and her husband, Jerry, brothers, Mel Chávez Sr. and his wife, Yolanda and Gary Chávez and his wife, Vivian, grandchildren, Jacob and Andres Ayala, and Isaiah and Isaac Baca and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Delora was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Chávez and nephew, Mel Chávez Jr.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Yolanda Chávez. Final visitation will be on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Torreon Cemetery, Torreon, NM.
