Services for Adelaide B. Odom were 10:00a.m. Sept. 19, 2005 in the Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Killion officiating. Arrangements and services were under the direction of Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home.
Ms. Odom died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005 in Claremore at the age of 98. She was born July 27, 1907 in Wagoner to Alfred and Elizabeth (Henry) Olmstead. She was a member of the First Christian Church and Eastern Star. She was a long-time resident of Wagoner until two years ago when she moved to Claremore to be near her son.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Alfred and Elizabeth Olmstead; her husband, W.C. Odom; one brother, Frank Olmstead; two sisters, Rema Zachary and Lawsie Dishman.
She is survived by: her son, Bill Odom and his wife Eloise of Claremore; one brother, Kenneth Olmstead of Tulsa; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
