On February 26, 1931 she married Robert Cecil Frith in Chula, MO. He died in in 1975. They had two daughters, Martha Ann and Mary Caroline.
She taught school in Norborne MO, Utica MO, Chula, MO, and Chester IL. From 1952 to 1969 she taught English at Chillicothe High School.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, PEO, DAR, American Legion Auxiliary, Delta Kappa Gamma, Culture Club, RSVP, and AAUW.
She was blessed with 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
