Mrs. Searcy, formerly Miss Lota Alice Standiford, she was born near English, June 20, 1898. She was married to Francis Newton Searcy in 1826.
A son, Everett Sherman Searcy was born a few days before her death.
Besides her parents, husband and child, she was survived by four sisters, Lola and Dorothy Standiford, of English; Mrs. Mae Howe, of Michigan; Mrs. Anna Lytle, of English; four brothers, Charlie, George, Willie and Fred Standiford, all of English. A brother, Frank, is dead.
