Obituary: age 81 of Wall, South Dakota, died July 14, 2009, at the Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City.

Kathleen Pauline Reinbold was born February 17, 1928, at Trail City, South Dakota, the daughter of James and Margaret (Schwingler) Reinbold. She received her education at a rural school, called the Reinbold School, which was located on her parents' land. She attended Mobridge High School, Mount Marty High School at Yankton, and two years at the National School of Business in Rapid City.
Kathleen married Hilary "Larry" Naescher on October 27, 1948, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wall.
Her husband Hilary preceded her in death on February 3, 2002. She continued to make her home in Wall until moving into the Silverleaf in Philip in January 2005. In July 2006, she moved into the Philip Nursing Home where she has since resided.
Kathleen was a member of the Live and Learn Club and the St. Patrick's Catholic Church Altar Society for over 50 years. She enjoyed keeping up her house, gardening, canning, sewing, and crocheting. Kathleen always enjoyed her nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Grateful for having shared her life are her children Mike Naescher and his wife Marie of Wall, and grandchildren Brian (Briana), Darin (Kelsie) and Gregory; John Naescher and his wife Twila of Wall, and grandchildren Gary (Sommerlyn) and great-grandchildren Malaya and Miranda, and grandson Chris; LeRoy Naescher and his wife Carol of Oacoma and grandchildren Shonna (Jim) Riggs and great-grandchildren Teisha, Elijah, Josiah, Jeffrey, Macey, and Hilarie, and grandson Justin (Sarah) and great-grandson Kane; and Cleone Cozine and her husband Bruce of Chamberlain, and grandchildren Steven and Katie; four brothers Francis Reinbold and his wife Ann of Mobridge, John Reinbold of Trail City, Wilfred Reinbold and his wife Marjorie of Mobridge, and Jim Reinbold and his wife Nancy of Wagner; two sisters Dorothy Thomas and her husband Bernard of Spearfish, and Delores Maxon and her husband Frank of Bismarck, North Dakota; one brother-in-law Ludwig Thomas of Glencross, South Dakota; one sister-in-law Alice Naescher of Wall; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband Hilary, Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters Marjorie Kelly and Bernadine Thomas.
Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wall, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wall, with Father Ron Garry as celebrant.
Interment was in the Wall Cemetery.
A memorial is established.
