Mrs. Charles Hart Summoned
Mrs. Charles N. Hart passed away Sunday night at Mercy hospital in Iowa City, where she had gone to visit her sister, Mrs. E.C. Richards. She suffered a heart attack, but was unable to rally from the severe drain upon her strength. Her age was 70 years, 4 months and 5 days.
Olive May Truesdell, eldest of five children, was born to William and Hannah Truesdell at Arlington, May 27, 1875.
On Nov. 11, 1897, she was united in marriage to L. Clifford Rawson at Arlington. To this union five children were born.
Mr. Rawson preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1929.
On March 27, 1932, she was united in marriage to Mr. C.N. Hart of Postville.
For many years Mrs. Hart taught a Sunday school class in the Methodist Church and at the time of her death was a member of the Methodist Church of Fayette. She was always interested in religious activities, which was further evidenced by her membership in the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband; one brother, Frank Truesdell of Arlington; one sister, Mrs. E.C. Richards, of Iowa City; and five children: Mrs. P.H. Belding of Waucoma, Verdine Rawson of Chicago, Ill; Leroy Curtis of Geneva, Ohio, and Mrs. Kermit Erickson of Oelwein, Iowa; and ten grandchildren.
