Mr. Wilbur Kenneth (Jack) Craft, age 69, of Roanoke, died Monday. He was a founding member, first instructor and first Lieutenant of the Clearbrook Rescue Squad and Fire Department.

He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army and a member of D.A.V.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys King Craft; daughter, Lynette Sue Craft; son-in-law, Garry D. Goad; granddaughter, Julia Lynette Goad; sister, Kate McCormick; half sister, Thelma Haley; sister-in-law, Lillian Croft, all of Roanoke; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by the Rev. Peter Leddy and the Rev. Ernest Deyerle, II officiating with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Boones Mill. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Roanoke.
