LINCOLN -- Norma Jean Ubbenga, 75, of Lincoln, died Monday, April 18, 2005, at St. John's Hospice in Springfield.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln. Billy Joe Shanle will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service time.
Burial will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
She was born July 1, 1929, at Lake Fork to William "Bill" and Bessie Sherwood Koehler.
She married George M. Ubbenga on Oct. 24, 1970.
She is survived by her husband; three children, Jennifer A. Diers (and husband Jay) of Springfield, Connie Lee Buckles of Georgia and Steven O. Letterle (and wife Carrie) of North Carolina; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Johnson, Della Mae Bradley and Shirley Linger; and three brothers, Arnold "Mike" Koehler, Dave Koehler and William "Pudge" G. Koehler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Edward Koehler and Harold "Hap" Koehler; and one sister, Linda Gressel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John's Hospice in Springfield.
