Ray L. Trainor, 32, died on Tuesday, October 12, 1999, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ray was born on September 5, 1967, in Madison, the son of Raymond and Deann "Dede" {Sutter} Trainor.

Ray married Shelby Rabuck on September 28, 1996, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pine Bluff.

Ray was a member of the Roadside 4-Wheelers, Speedway Hilltoppers, Mount Horeb Car Club, Bluff Valley Riders and he was the former lead singer of Locktite. He was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Trainor had many friends, talents and was involved in so many activities; he will be missed by all.

Survivors include his wife Shelby; two year old daughter, Holland Rae; parents, Ray and Dede Trainor of Mount Horeb; sisters, Teri (Duane) Bowar of Mount Horeb, Jody (Mark) Schmitz of McFarland, Gaye (Rob) Fredrick of Mount Horeb; a brother, Jonathan (Erin) Trainor of Barneveld; grandparents, Gay and Marion Sutter of Mount Horeb; mother-in-law, Debra (Dan) Sutter of Blue Mounds; father-in-law, John Rabuck (friend Janet Leggett) of Fitchburg; a sister-in-law, Sherry Rabuck of Mount Horeb; many aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.

Trainor was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Josephine Trainor.

A funeral mass was held on Friday, October 15, 1999, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pine Bluff, Wisconsin.

Ray's sense of humor will always be remembered.

"RayRay" was a 1986 Graduate of Mount Horeb High School.
