Jane Sayres was the daughter of Noah and Rachel Sayres (both natives of North Carolina). She married Aaron Hoel, son of Walter Hoel and his wife, Pheobe Tucker; on August 11, 1819 in Hamilton County, Ohio. Aaron died September 1, 1855 and she married Jesse Sargent in 1858. Jane and Aaron's children were-Amy Jane, James, George Washington, Jacob, Rachel Mariah, Catherine, Charlotte Ann, Phoebe, John and Aaron.
