"Mrs. Laura B. Stone, 61, of 1064 Palmetto av., a native of Scioto County, O., died Sunday in her home. Mrs. Stone came to Akron 12 years ago from New Lexington, O. She was a member of Coventry Council 302, Daughters of America, and the Akron Marine Corps Auxiliary. She leaves her husband, Joseph; eight sons, John, Lawrence, William, Warren, Robert, Richard, Gilbert and Roger, all of Akron; six daughters, Mrs. D. A. Newcomb of Greensburg, Mrs. A. N. Reed of East Liberty, Mrs. C T. Swanson, Mrs. E. L. Snyder, Mrs. J. B. Weaver and Joanne Stone, all of Akron; 22 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers, Basil and Joseph Abram of New Lexington, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Spires of Jacksontown, O., and Mrs. Thomas Thompson of Akron. The Rev. Carl Burnham will conduct services at 1 p. m. Wednesday in the Adams Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greensburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight."
