AUSTIN, July 6--Charles B. Watt, 74, died at the Confederate Home, after a residence there of only three months. He was a native of North Carolina and served in a regiment from that state in McGregor's brigade, Army of Northern Virginia. He had been living in Texas since 1871. His body was buried in the State cemetery.
