PASSING OF AN OLD RESIDENT
Mrs. Sarah Ann Donart died at her home in Stillwater, Monday, May 16, 1921. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Donart came to Stillwater at the first opening of Oklahoma and have lived here continuously since.
Mrs. Donart was loved and respected by a host of friends who are saddened by her death which was not unlooked for. Services were held at the United Brethren church Wednesday afternoon conducted by Virtes Williams and interment made in Fairlawn cemetery.
Sarah Ann Heath, daughter of James C. Heath and Nancy Heath was born January 1st, 1850, in the state of Ohio, and departed this life May 16th, 1921, at the age of 71 years 4 months and 16 days.
She was married to Charles Donart, July 26th, 1868, near Wilshire, Ohio. To this union eight children were born, J.H. Donart of Stillwater; C.W. Donart of Stillwater; Claudius Wilson Donart, who died at the age of 2 years and 17 days; C.R. Donart of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Cora M. Coffey of Oklahoma City; G.H. Donart of Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. E.L. Millard of Stillwater and C.E. Donart of Stillwater.
In the year 1885 she with her family moved to Garfield county, Kansas, living there until April 22, 1889, when they moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma, residing until death came.
She joined the United Brethren Church at the age of 16 years and remained a faithful member to the end.
