Erma Deloris (Williams) Catrett
January 26, 1936 – April 6, 2013
Erma Deloris (Williams) Catrett, age 77, a loving wife and mom, born in Dexter, MO and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Westminster Village. She was a retired 3rd grade teacher for the Baldwin County Board of Education. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and obtained her Masters degree in education from Troy State University. She was a long time member of Stockton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, LeAnne Catrett (James) Tamblyn of Mobile, AL and Shawna Catrett (Steven) Broussard of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Robert Williams of Swartz Creek, MI; one sister Reva Lee Lintz of Bloomfield, MO; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Jackie Catrett of Geraldine, AL; five grandchildren, Perrin Tamblyn, Lynn McClure Tamblyn, Laura Catrett Tamblyn, William Lee Broussard and Johnathon Kern Broussard and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Catrett in March of 2010.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Marg Perelli officiating. Burial will follow at Stockton Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 8, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Stockton United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 7, Stockton, AL 36579 or to the Alzheimer's Foundation, P.O. Box 9693, Mobile, AL 36691.
The family would like to thank the staff at Westminster Village for their loving and nurturing care.
