Kevin Jay Allen, 37, 526 Stitt St., died at 8:20 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005, at Wabash County Hospital. He was a life-long resident of Wabash.

He was born June 15, 1967, in Wabash, to Robert M. "Bobby" and Sandra A. (Carroll) Allen. His father survives in Wabash; his mother in Huntington.

He was employed at Precision Plastics, Wabash. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, weightlifting, motorcycle racing and cars. He was a 1985 graduate of Wabash High School.

He was formerly married to Debi Burton, the mother of his children - Levi Allen, Wabash, and Austin Allen and Jacob Allen, both of Tennessee - and stepson Rodney James Vite, Tennessee. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the McDonald Funeral Home, Eddingfield Chapel, with Pastor John Gillum officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Memorials may be directed to the children of Kevin Allen, in care of the funeral home.
