Born in Plains, he was a son of the late Vincent and Domicella Baranouski Blazis.
He was employed as a head mechanic for American Tobacco, Mountain Top, retiring in 1972.
Mr. Blazis was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church, Plains and the Plains Senior Citizens Center.
He was preceded in death by brothers, William, Anthony and Albert; and a sister, Mary Flynn.
Surviving is his wife of 70 years, the former Nellie Rymar; brother, John, Plains; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Church, Plains.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:15 to 10 a.m. Wednesday.
