John P. Fackey, age 76, 1179 Central avenue, died Monday night at 11:35 o'clock in Mercy hospital of complications. Born in Hamilton on June 19, 1872, he was the son of John and Bridget Fackey. He attended St. Mary parochial
school, and on June 16, 1897, married Miss Minnie Miller, of Hamilton. She preceded him in death on September 14, 1900. The following year, he married Miss
Lillian King, Oxford, who died on October 7, 1940. A son, John P. Fackey, Jr., preceded him in death on July 26, 1947. By occupation a plasterer, Mr. Fackey
had been retired since 1944. He was a loyal member of St. Mary Catholic church. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Frank Janos, R. R. 4, Hamilton, and Mrs. Fred
Winters, Houston, Tex,; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a nephew, John Fackey, Hamilton, and a niece, Mrs. William A. Inman, Somerville. Funeral services will be held from the Colligan funeral home, 437 South Third street,
Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock, with requiem high mass from St. Mary Catholic church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary cemetery. Friends may call at
the funeral home Thursday afternoon after 4 o'clock.
