Anne's parents are Col. Robert Harper and Polly Hendry. Polly died in Mar. 1847 in Sandusky, Erie County, OH.
Anne married Dr. Aaron Austin on May 6, 1840, in Harpersfield, Ashtabula County, OH. Shortly after their marriage, they relocated to Sandusky, Erie County, OH, where they would have two sons, Harper (1842) and Robert (1849). The 1850 - 1870 censuses showed that they stayed in Erie County, OH. It is a fair assumption that Aaron died in Erie County, OH. The 1880 census shows Anne and Harper had moved back to Harpersfield, Ashtabula County, OH to live with her brother and his family. Robert is not listed in this census and no further record of him has been found.
