Her life was one centered on her large extended family. She had a lovely singing voice and though she did not read music she played the piano beautifully. And, what a graceful dancer! She was an avid bird watcher and drew much joy from the visit of cardinals and finches to the many bird feeders at her home in Winston, GA. She absolutely adored reading, travelling, seeing new places and experiencing new adventures. "Never enough time to do everything I want to do," she used to say. She was a wonderful cook. She loved cheese cake and one dollar slot machines, not necessarily in that order! Her smile and laugh was a true delight and in every respect she was a real gentle lady. She had a clear belief and sustaining love and devotion for her family and for her God.
Carrie Frautschi's passing will be mourned and her life celebrated by her four children: Rick J. Frautschi (Paul), Belmont, CA; Delilah M. Riffle (Larry), Winston, GA; Roland L. Frautschi (Melissa), Shreveport, LA; Robin E. Snyder (Larry), Shreveport, LA; her 12 grandchildren: Kenny Riffle; Jennifer Lewis (David); Ryen Clouse (Erik); Aaron Riffle; Autumn May (Craig); Hillary Sommer; Tony Snyder; Jake Snyder; Haley Sylvest (Caleb); Ellen Frautschi; Margaret Frautschi; Alexis Frautschi; and her 12 great-grandchildren: Kane, Delilah, Hunter, Matthew, Samantha, Brandon, Logan, Mason, Alyssa, Christian, Cierra, and Jasmine. Additionally, Carrie leaves behind three loving sisters: Gladys Conran (Richard), Clarksville, TN; Daisy Hodges and Joann Bell (George), Vanceboro, NC. She will be missed most dearly by Coco and Beau.
A viewing and visitation is planned from 3-4 p.m. followed by a brief service at 4 p.m. at Hill-Crest Chapel on Monday, April 8 at 601 Highway 80, Hill-Crest Memorial
