LAGRANGE,Ga. Mrs. Es sie Brown, 74, Whitesville Road, died Friday at City-County Hospital. She was born in Randolph County, Ala., and had lived here for 25 years.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Addie Burks, Dalton, Ga., Mrs. Lila Smith, Riverview, Ala., Mrs. Annis Pinkard, Fairfax, Ala., Mrs. Irene Lashley, LaGrange; three sons, Bernice Brown, the Rev. T. J. Brown and Charley Brown, all of La Grange; three sisters, Mrs. Vera Arrington, Wedowee, Ala., and Mrs. Clara Whatley and Mrs. Prentis Dunlap, both of La Grange; and three brothers, Clinton Hood, Wedowee, Ala., and Humphrey Hood and Reid Hood, both of LaGrange.
Funeral will be at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at 4 p. m. today with burial at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
