Arthur Steinke, age 92, of Berlin, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2007 at the Juliette Manor Nursing Home.
He was born on October 6, 1914 in the Township of Marion, Waushara County, a son of the late Edward and Ida (Sauer) Steinke. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro. Arthur was formerly a groundskeeper at the Green Lake Center. He loved music and played the accordion.
Arthur is survived by 1 brother; Marvin Eldon Steinke of Princeton; 2 nieces, Joan (Donald) Otto of Sheboygan Falls, Delores (Ernie) Sippel of Fond du Lac; other relatives and friends.
Arthur was also preceded in death by his 2 sisters; Irene and Elnora.
A funeral service for Arthur Steinke will take place on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 2:00 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro with Rev. Franklin Giebel officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Neshkoro.
