Joseph Ambrose Andries, 54, of Dallas, Tex., died Oct. 14, in Dallas, after an extended illness.*

Funeral services were conducted Oct. 16, in St. John's Catholic Church, with the Reverend Father William Kwaaitaal officiating. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

Survivors include three sons, John Andries, Mike Andries, and Thomas Andries, all of Dallas; one daughter, Susan Andries of Dallas; two brothers, Will H. Andries of Baton Rouge, and Patrick D. Andries of Dallas; four sisters, Mrs. W. D. Posteel of New Orleans, Mrs. C. G. Cloutier of Shreveport, Miss Lenories Andries of New Orleans, and Mrs. Melton C. Hall of Monroe.

Pallbearers were Claude Andries, Hubert Andries, Harold Andries, John J. Blake Jr., Woodrow Nichols, and Bud Wright.
