John Mullen*, died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Westover, of cancer. He was nearly 90* years of age and a native of Ireland. He went to England as a young man and was married there, coming to America later. During the past 21 years he has made his home with Mrs. Westover, first in Iowa, and for the past three years in this county, south of Lake Minnewaska. Besides Mrs. Westover he is survived by two other children, Patrick and Michael, one in California and one in Chicago.

He is buried next to his granddaughter Marie Bridget Westover (1896-1899)

There is no stone for either one of them and the church records were destroyed by fire.
