Mrs. Melinda C. Sides, widow of Marion Sides, was born February 4th, 1880, in Mississippi and passed away at her home in the vicinity of Chute Sixteen, March 4th at 11:45 p.m. of influenza and heart trouble. Deceased was 55 years and 1 month old at the time of her death.
She was a member of the Baptist Church, a good neighbor and friend and was a good Christian woman. Rev. D.K. Foster conducted the funeral service Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment was at Little Prairie cemetery.
Deceased is survived by a number of children and other relatives.
