This Thomas was born 1799 in Pendleton Dist., South Carolina to Sherod Nowlin and Anne Wade. He went to Georgia and married and then moved to Arkansas. This Thomas is not the son of Bryan Ward Nowlin and he never went to Tennessee. Confusing because of so many similar names. There is a Thomas Nowlin in Tennessee in 1850, but not this one - Thomas and Nancy and their family were in Champagnolle, Ouachita County, Arkansas before 1850 and never left. Please delete Bryan Ward Nowlin as father and change to Sherod Nowlin born 1759 in Pittsylvania, Virginia and died after 1840 in Walton County, Georgia.
