Mrs. Elvira Sheaffer died on Sunday evening at her home 12 North Plum Street from Paralysis. She was in her 69th year, the widow of George W. Sheaffer. She was a native of New Holland and was Miss Rannels before her death. She was a member of the New Holland Lutheran Church. These children survive: Levi of Harrisburg, Mary wife of Newton Eaby, Lancaster, Edward of Bermuda, California, Samuel, Harry, Amos, William and Katherine of Lancaster. She is also survived by a brother Samuel Rannels and a sister Mrs. George Beck of Lancaster. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
