He was born as Thomas Leo Car when his parents were living at 22 Briggs Street and his father was working as a moulder.

In Jun 1917 Leo Thomas Carr filed his WWI draft registration card when he was single, living at 22 Briggs Street and working as a moulder for the Weir Stove Company. At that time he was described as having a medium height and build, brown eyes and dark brown hair.

When he re-filed with the 1942 draft of WWII, he and Margaret were at 22 Briggs Street, their phone number was Taunton 1324M, and he was employed by the Glenwood Range Company located at 300 West Water Street. He was then 5'8" tall, weighed 130 pounds, and had gray eyes and brown hair.

Leo T. Carr, 77, husband of the late Margaret H. (McMorrow) Carr of 1-A Paul Bunker Drive, died Tuesday afternoon at his home. Born in Taunton, son of the late William E. and Abby E. (Streeter) Carr, he resided in Taunton all his life. A retire moulder from the Glenwood Range Company, he attended Taunton schools. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Carr is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Richard W. (Leah) Barrington and Mrs. Claude (Marguerite M.) Cornaglia, both of Taunton; one sister, Mrs. Marguerite E. King of Taunton, and one nephew.
