She was the sister of one priest, Brother Sixtus (born Andrew). She was the mother of 3 nuns; Mother Valeria (born Mary), Sister Mary Kathleen (born Catherine) and Sister Mary Edith (born Josephine). Her other children were Anna, Joseph, James, Cyril, Elizabeth, and 5 unknown children who died in infantcy.
She was a resident of Hazleton, Luzerne Co, PA and died while on a visit to her daughter Elizabeth (Romanchek) Segilia, who lived in New Jersey.
4 of her daughters lived to be over 80, 3 of them dying in their 90's. Her remaining daughter, Elizabeth, is still alive at the age of 83 and is the last living child of Anna & James.
