He was born on April 1, 1909, to Harry and Millie (Thornton) Fleagle in Reynolds, Neb. He married Esther Baluska on June 9, 1939, in Kimball, Neb.
He owned his own farm for many years and then later farmed for other people.
He was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Kimball.
He is survived by his wife Esther of Kimball; sons and daughter-in-law Gordon and Vonda Fleagle of Northglenn, Colo., and Larry and Joanne of Isabel, S.D.; daughters and sons-in-law Florence Fleaming of Las Vegas, Nev., Phyllis and Mike Greenwood of Kimball, Alice and Dan Otoupalik of Pueblo, Colo., Mary and Lee Conner of Alamosa, Colo.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Leo Fleagle, two sisters Ruby Simpson and Hattie Naiman and one grandchild.
