MONROE EVENING NEWS, Thurs., June 13, 1918:
"Mrs. Clara A. Mulhollen, nee Curtis, died at Harper's Hospital, Detroit, on June 6, 1918. She was born in Monroetown June 25, 1859, had she lived until June 25th would have been 59 years old. She was united in marriage to Frank Mulhollen, March 19, 1890, in Monroe by the Rev. E.G. Potter. To this union were born three children: Harry E., Ruth A., and Lloyd C., who with her husband and a brother, Albert W. Curtis, of Chanute, Kansas, survive her. The deceased was converted in the East Raisinville Evangelical Church, but after her marriage she united with the St. Paul's M.E. church at Monroe. She was very active in church work and leaves many friends to mourn her loss. Interment took place in the family plat (sic) in Woodland Cemetery."
