Funeral services for Marjorie Gladys Croft French, 94, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. The Rev. Dan Hamil will officiate. Born Oct. 23, 1907, in Princeton, Ky., she died Friday, April 12, 2002, at Parkway Healthcare Center. Interment will be in Wheaton Cemetery following the services. Mrs. French worked as a retail manager for more than 25 years for Goldblatt Brothers. She was a long-standing member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Princeton and a regular volunteer at South Chicago Community Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Charles) Westberry of Wheaton; son, William (Maureen) French of Chicago; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse French; son, Charles French; and her daughter, Earlyn French-Carlson. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Eastside Baptist Church, 3505 East 107th St., Chicago, IL 60617.
