Ledona June Canfield, daughter
of Rollie and Eunice Canfield, was
born at Belleville on June 26, 1922.
She became sick on Tuesday and
departed this life in the early eve-
ning of Friday October 5, 1934, aged
12 years, 3 months, and 9 days.
She was a member of the sixth grade
class in the Belleville junior high
school.
Surviving are her father and mother;
a brother, Andy; sister, Evelyn;
grandmother, Mrs. Una Arnold of
Holliday, Kan; grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Canfield of Belleville;
two uncles and two aunts, Tom Arnold,
and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Arnold of
Holliday. and Mrs. Ollie Witt of
Belleville; six cousins, and other
relatives and friends.
Eight girls, her schoolmates, were
the pall bearers. Teachers from the
public schools composed the quartet
of singers. Her school grade attended
the services in a group.
Interment was made in the Belleville cemetery.
